SEGRETA | AUGUST 2020

THE ST.REGIS AMMAN, JORDAN

St. Regis’s library terrace morphed into a garden conservatory. By sustaining an open circulation, and studying all perspectives of the space, the priority of the visitors’ quality of restaurant experience brought to implementing a layout reflecting the ease of movement while creating a sustainable design. Through interiorizing the space, an island of greenery with back-to-back furniture created an urban scheme with flourishing tall banana leaves, giving height and volume to the adjacent wall. A marble countertop botanic bar design with suspended plants and wall-mounted display shelves emphasized a sense of luxury to the space.
The playful swing design features a high-quality synthetic green backdrop with Segreta’s logo lit in warm lighting to set the evening mood. Working around the wall’s existing architectural form and curvature, the vertical green wall design welcomes a sense of flow and energy into the space. A serene design where visitors feel what it’s like living in an agricultural haven.
